The Kuni Foundation, a 501©(3) nonprofit, endeavors to protect your personal privacy. This Privacy Policy addresses the Kuni Foundation’s practices regarding information collected from users of the https://www.kunifoundation.org/ (“Site”). This Privacy Policy does not address or govern any information gathering, use or dissemination practices related to information collected from you other than directly through or from the Site, such as from other websites, telephone, facsimile, postal mail, personal delivery, or other or additional offline means or media.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Kuni Foundation’s [Terms of Use] for the Site by reference, as if set forth fully therein, which must be reviewed and accepted by you.
The Site is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from visitors in this age group.

We collect personally identifiable information from you only when you voluntarily provide us with this information, such as when establishing an account, contacting us with a question or comment, utilizing an “Email to a Friend” feature, or signing up to receive emails about our latest products and services.

Your personal information and data may also be disclosed if, in the Kuni Foundation’s sole judgment, that disclosure is appropriate to protect the life, health or property of the Kuni Foundation or any other person or entity.
Managing Your Personal Information and Options
You may use the Site without providing any personally identifiable information.
We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you have established an account on the Site, or signed up to receive electronic newsletters or emails from the Kuni Foundation, you will have the right at any time to opt out of receiving emails or to specify which, if any, communications you would like to receive from us. Should you ever decide to delete your account, you may do so by emailing website@kunifoundation.org.
If you would like to opt-out of receiving information via email, click the unsubscribe link on the footer of emails. If you would like to opt-out of receiving communication via postal mail, contact us at 360-663-KUNI.
At your request, the Kuni Foundation will confirm what personally identifiable information it collects or holds about you, and will correct, update and/or remove such information. You may contact the Kuni Foundation for any of the foregoing at 360-663-KUNI. If you ask that the Kuni Foundation stop using or sharing your personally identifiable information, we will honor that request. However, the Kuni Foundation may retain records of your personally identifiable information for a period of time; for example, to follow up on a request or in order to comply with applicable federal, state or local law. In addition, some personal information may also continue to be stored on back-up files for financial, legal or technical reasons.
Additionally, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (also known as the “Shine The Light” law) permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year. EU Data Subjects
This section applies if you are an individual located in the European Union or European Economic Area (collectively, “EU”) (“EU Data Subject”). For these purposes, reference to the EU also includes the European Economic Area countries of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and, where applicable, Switzerland. The Kuni Foundation does not (i) maintain an establishment in the EU; (ii) offer or intend to offer its products or services to EU Data Subjects through the Site; or (iii) monitor the behavior of EU Data Subjects that takes place within the EU. All grant amounts on the Site are listed in United States Dollars and are not intended for EU Data Subjects. The Site is controlled, operated and intended to be used from within the United States. We make no representation that the Site is appropriate for use outside the United States, or that access to and use of the Site in accordance with this Privacy Policy complies with the laws of any other jurisdiction.
Security
The confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from the Kuni Foundation via the Site or via email cannot be, and is not, guaranteed. You acknowledge that the technical processing and transmission of content via the Site may be transferred unencrypted and involve: (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting to networks or devices. If you access a third party website from a link on this Site, any information you disclose on that website is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
